Oklahoma Achieves Executive Director Releases Statement Following Release of State Report Card System

Oklahoma City (February 28, 2019) – Oklahoma Achieves Executive Director Bobby Griffith released the following statement after the release of the School Report Card system:

“Today is a great step forward for accountability in educational outcomes,” said Griffith. “The State Department of Education has worked hard to develop a transparent, data-driven accountability system that will inform parents, communities and policy makers on the performance of schools in Oklahoma. The business community supports the easy-to-understand metrics in Oklahoma’s School Report Cards, which help identify the strengths and weaknesses in schools and where additional supports and resources should be targeted to improve educational outcomes.”
